Voluteers Needed - Longest Hockey Game

For those that are unaware back in 2012 we set the world record for the longest hockey game of 248hrs and raised over 1.6M,

 

We are at it again! May 4-14, 2014 we will hitting the ice for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and Southern Alberta Flood Relief. The goal is bigger, the record longer, and our determination even stronger!

 

This year, we are focusing our efforts on Brain Health. As you can imagine, when your child is seriously ill, it’s frightening. When the illness affects your child’s brain– it’s devastating. Sadly, an estimated 150,000 children in southern Alberta are affected by brain disorders. Brain-based illnesses can affect a child’s development, intelligence, personality and life-long potential, which is why the Alberta Children’s Hospital has made Brain Health a priority.

We are excited as well on news given to us last week that a group of people in the US (Ohio) are going to be attempting to break our record from 2012. We are now in a Canada vs. USA battle.
