OUT OF THE BLUE KIDS LONG HOCKEY GAME SATURDAY MAY 12th CHESTERMERE REC CENTER (OLYMPIC ICE SURFACE)
Hello all,
As many of you know I was training to play in the Worlds Longest Hockey Game in Chestermere but I suffered an injury before the start of the game that would not allow me to complete the 245 hours with my 40 very good friends who are currently playing to raise 1.5Million dollars for the Alberta Childrens Hospital. My son Evan (Bucky) has been hepling me at the rink and cannot believe what these guys are going through so he came up with an idea. Lets play a fun all day "Out of the blue game with some buddies.
I know this is last minute but this is what we are trying to put together. I have the Icetime donated to me from Saturday May 12th at 8:00am until 3:00pm Saturday May 12th. on RED RINK CHESTERMERE REC CENTER
( We are currently confirming severval media outlets who will be at the rink Saturday filming the WLG, Kids Long Game and NHL Alumni Game
This is what we would like to do:
SET UP A DONATION BOOTH FOR SUPPORTS TO DONATE TO THE KIDS LONG HOCKEY GAME( ALL FUNDS WILL GO TO ALBERTA CHILDRENS HOSPITAL)
32 Kids, 15 players each side plus 2 goalies. ( I would like to Keep it to Current First and Second Year Atom Players)
We will play a regular game with Referees and Score Keepers.
** What I would like to do is switch the 2 Goalies after Each 2 hour Game **(We will have additional Goalie Gear for a Player to go in Goal)
The goalies if they like could play out as a player for a Game!
KIDS OUT OF THE BLUE LONG HOCKEY GAME will go as follows:
8:00am-10:00am (Play)
10:00am-10:15am (Flood)
10:15am-12:15pm (Play)
12:15pm to 12:30 ( Flood)
12:30-1:00pm ( Break for Lunch) Lunch Provided for all Players
1:00pm to 3:00pm (Play)
Burgers Provided for Players and Families
Behind the Scenes for Autographs with NHL Alumni
4:00pm to 5:30pm NHL Alumni Game after Kids GAME( Red Rink Chestermere Rec Center Olympic Ice Surface) They are raising monye for the WLG Game as well.
5:30pm to 7:30pm Cheer WLG Gameon BLUE RINK (FLASH KID MOB)
